About the Event
The GCC eHealth Workforce Development Conference (eHWDC) 2020, held virtually from 14-16 November 2020 on Sarcon’s virtual event platform. The event was organized to bring together decision-makers at healthcare, education, and human resources development, along with healthcare organizations and professionals, to create a sustainable digital healthcare ecosystem through a skilled and empowered local eHealth workforce within GCC countries. The conference aimed to hold various professional training, workshops, conferences, roundtables, and forums throughout its duration. To make this happen, Sarcon was hired to host the virtual event.
The Challenge
The organizers of the eHWDC 2020 faced several challenges in planning and hosting a virtual conference. The main challenge was to provide networking opportunities for the participants, exhibitors, and speakers and to create a unique platform with the policymakers of each country in the GCC region. The event aimed to hold various professional training, workshops, conference, roundtable, and forums throughout the duration of the 3 day event .Furthermore, the organizers wanted to use this platform to empower young talents to seize the future opportunities in eHealth and lead the digital health transformation across the GCC region. Sarcon had to ensure that the attendees had a smooth and immersive virtual experience throughout the event.
